Trump Campaign Labels Walz a “Dangerous Liberal Extremist”
The campaign of Republocan presidential candidate Donald Trump has launched a scathing attack on Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, calling him a “dangerously liberal extremist,” Fox News reports.
The campaign claims that Walz’s policies and views, which they say align perfectly with Harris’, represent a “nightmare” for all Americans.
Trump’s supporters’ criticism follows Walz’s selection as Harris’ running mate earlier on Tuesday. Walz, a 60-year-old former congressman serving his second term as governor, has been a vocal critic of former President Trump and his running mate JD Vance, recently calling them “weird,” a remark embraced by the Harris campaign.
Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt accused Walz of attempting to “reshape Minnesota in the image of the Golden State,” highlighting his support for progressive policies like a carbon-free agenda, stricter emissions standards, and voting rights for convicted felons.
“If Walz won’t tell voters the truth, we will,” Leavitt declared, asserting that both Harris and Walz are “dangerously liberal extremists” whose vision for the country is a “nightmare.”
