Wyoming Gasoline Prices Hold Steady as National Average Declines

Gasoline prices in Wyoming remained unchanged over the past week, averaging $2.89 per gallon as of Monday, according to a GasBuddy.com survey of 494 stations statewide, Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports.

While prices have held steady this week, they are 7.3 cents higher than a month ago and 27.4 cents higher than the same time last year.

Across the state, the price of gasoline showed a wide range, with the lowest recorded price at $2.47 per gallon and the highest at $3.69, reflecting a $1.22 difference.

Nationally, the average gasoline price dipped by 0.9 cents over the last week to $3.08 per gallon. Despite this slight decrease, the national average has risen by 6.5 cents compared to a month ago but remains 1.8 cents lower than a year ago.

Diesel prices in the US, however, saw an increase of 4.4 cents in the past week, reaching an average of $3.65 per gallon.

GasBuddy’s data, compiled from over 11 million weekly price reports across more than 150,000 gas stations, provides valuable insight into both state and national fuel trends.
