Gas Prices See Modest Increase in Wyoming

Gasoline prices in Wyoming have experienced a slight increase, rising 3.4 cents per gallon over the past week, Buffalo Bulletin reports.

As of Monday, the average price for a gallon of gas in the state was $2.85, based on a survey of 494 stations by GasBuddy.com.

Despite the recent uptick, prices in Wyoming are still lower than a month ago by 3.6 cents per gallon. However, they are higher than they were at the same time last year by 11 cents per gallon.

GasBuddy reports that the lowest gas price in Wyoming on Sunday was $2.25 per gallon, while the highest was $3.69, resulting in a price difference of $1.44 per gallon between the least and most expensive stations.

In comparison, the national average price for gasoline has decreased slightly by 1.1 cents per gallon, standing at $3.02 on Monday. This marks a 0.9-cent increase from a month ago, but a 3.2-cent decrease from a year ago.

Additionally, the national average price for diesel fuel has risen by 3.7 cents in the past week, now averaging $3.525 per gallon.
