Love’s Travel Stops has officially opened its first truck stop in northern Wyoming, providing a range of services for travelers, truckers, and RV owners, Cowboy State Daily reports.
The new 24-hour facility is located at Exit 58 off Interstate 90 in Buffalo, Wyoming, where Interstates 25 and 90 intersect — a key route for travelers heading to national parks and natural attractions in the Northwest.
The 11,500-square-foot travel center offers a variety of amenities designed to accommodate both commercial drivers and everyday motorists. It features 64 truck parking spaces, 52 car parking spaces, three RV hookups, and an RV dump station. Truckers can access six diesel fuel bays, a certified automatic truck scale (CAT), and designated showers and laundry facilities.
For those seeking food and refreshments, the stop includes two restaurant options: Love’s Fresh Kitchen and an Arby’s.
“Located just east of Wyoming’s Bighorn Mountains, Buffalo is along a major travel route to numerous national parks, forests and other attractions in the Northwest,” Love’s stated in a company announcement.
In addition to fueling and dining options, the travel center provides amenities like check cashing, copy and fax services, and a dog park for pet-owning travelers. Plans are also in place for the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in partnership with a local utility company, reflecting growing demand for EV infrastructure along major travel routes.
Love’s has hired 55 employees to operate the new location, which becomes the company’s fifth travel stop in Wyoming.
With its location near the Bighorn Mountains, the new truck stop is expected to cater to a mix of commercial truck drivers, road trippers, and tourists heading to popular destinations such as Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park. The stop provides a much-needed rest area for drivers navigating the heavily trafficked I-25 and I-90 corridors.
