Head coach Bryan Berryhill has announced the University of Wyoming’s 2024-25 indoor track and field schedule, featuring seven regular-season meets leading up to the Mountain West and NCAA Indoor Championships, University of Wyoming Athletics reports.
The season kicks off on Saturday, Dec. 7, with Wyoming hosting the Power Meet at the Hager-LeBar Indoor Track & Field Venue in Laramie. The meet, starting at noon, will feature competitors from Air Force, Colorado State, and South Dakota Mines. Meanwhile, the distance runners will head to Boston for the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener hosted by Boston University the same day.
After the winter break, the Pokes travel to Boulder, Colo., for the Colorado Classic on Jan. 17-18, followed by the Colorado Invite on Jan. 31-Feb. 1. They will also compete at the Bobcat Challenge in Bozeman, Mont., on Jan. 25.
In mid-February, Wyoming will split squads for the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash., and the Don Kirby Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., held on Feb. 14-15. The Mountain West Indoor Championships will also take place in Albuquerque from Feb. 27 to March 1.
The season culminates with the NCAA Indoor Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va., on March 14-15. Last year, Wyoming celebrated conference titles and Second-Team All-American honors for returners Kareem Mersal and Remar Pitter.
