Democrat Adam Gray has defeated Republican incumbent John Duarte in California’s 13th Congressional District, Bloomberg reports, citing The Associated Press.
The victory marks a significant shift in the district, which Duarte won by a narrow margin of just over 500 votes in the 2022 election.
The 13th District, which has a Hispanic majority, voted for Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election.
