Taylor Swift Returns to Arrowhead Stadium, Supporting Boyfriend Travis Kelce
Pop star Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night to cheer on her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, in their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, The Associated Press reports.
The Grammy-winning singer, who just wrapped up the US leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour with a final performance in Indianapolis on Sunday, was spotted in a black outfit and Chiefs coat, showing her support for her beau and the home team.
Swift’s arrival at the stadium came just one day before the presidential election, adding another layer of intrigue to her presence. The singer has publicly thrown her support behind Vice President Kamala Harris, creating a stir when her rival, Donald Trump, began to reference Swift’s friend and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, as a supporter of his campaign.
Mahomes himself has remained neutral on the election, encouraging people to register to vote instead of endorsing any specific candidate.
Swift’s romance with Kelce began last season when he invited the “Anti-Hero” singer to watch him play against the Bears in a September matchup. Since then, the couple has been seen together frequently.
