The Wyoming State Library recently celebrated its annual Snapshot Day, an event where libraries across the state collect stories, comments, and photos to showcase the valuable services they offer to their communities.

The event serves as a tool for advocacy, helping highlight the importance of libraries to public officials.

Libraries from various branches, including school libraries, participate in the event.

“Our Wyoming libraries are such an important hub for the communities in Wyoming, and provide such great resources and programming… This is a perfect opportunity to show all of the great work they’re doing across the state,” said Christi Weinzierl, Communications and Grant Specialist for the Wyoming State Library.

Residents are encouraged to visit their local libraries to explore the diverse services and events offered in their areas.
