The Wyoming Community Foundation has recently appointed Salvador Madrigal as the new representative for Sheridan County, Sheridan Media reports.

Madrigal, who serves as the Associate Director of Donor Stewardship, brings a deep connection to the region and a strong background in ranch management.

Born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, Madrigal moved to the western United States at 15, drawn by the cowboy lifestyle and expansive landscapes. He later earned a degree in Animal Science from Montana State University, focusing on farm and ranch management. During his college years, Madrigal spent his summers working at the Spear-O-Wigwam Guest Ranch in Sheridan, which he says captured his heart. After graduation, he took on the role of managing the ranch before transitioning to a career in sales over the past decade.

Kim Love, a board member of the Wyoming Community Foundation, explained that an opportunity arose to reorganize the foundation’s operations, prompting the appointment of Madrigal to the new position. Madrigal, who has now been in the role for just over a month, expressed excitement about collaborating with local 501(c)(3) organizations and fostering positive relationships within the community.

The Wyoming Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life across Wyoming through charitable contributions and grants. Madrigal looks forward to his continued work with the Foundation, strengthening connections and supporting local causes in Sheridan County.
