Apple has officially renamed the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America on its maps, following an order issued by President Donald Trump, The Associated Press reports.

This change has been recognized by the S Geographic Names Information System (USGNIS), which confirmed the official update late Sunday.

The renaming initiative comes on the heels of a similar announcement made by Google last month, indicating that the tech giant plans to implement the change contingent upon the official listing’s update. In a blog post released on Sunday, Google said that users in the United States would now see “Gulf of America,” while those in Mexico would continue to see “Gulf of Mexico.” Users in other regions will be presented with both names.

President Trump directed the renaming of the body of water flanked by the Southern United States, Mexico, and Cuba shortly after assuming office.

In addition to Apple and Google, Microsoft has also updated its Bing Maps to reflect the Gulf of America designation.
