Sharaputdin Magomedov, one of the headlining draws at UFC Fight Night 250 this weekend, had an unforgettable encounter with football legend Cristiano Ronaldo at the Al-Nassr team’s training ground in Riyadh, Al Jazeera reports.

The 30-year-old fighter, hailing from Russia, has been a lifelong fan of the Portuguese superstar.

In a video shared on the social media platform X, Magomedov and Ronaldo were seen enjoying a playful interaction, engaging in lighthearted jabs and wrestling on the training pitch. The football icon presented Magomedov with a signed Al-Nassr jersey emblazoned with his name, further highlighting the camaraderie between the two athletes.

Ronaldo, known for his enthusiasm for boxing and mixed martial arts (MMA), is set to attend the ANB Arena in Riyadh on Saturday to show his support for Magomedov during the event. Speaking at the UFC Fight Night 250 media day, Magomedov expressed his excitement about having Ronaldo in his corner.

Magomedov boasts an impressive professional record, remaining unbeaten with 15 wins and 0 losses in MMA, including 4 victories in the UFC. He will be facing the formidable Michael Page from the United Kingdom in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 250. This matchup is part of what is heralded as the most stacked MMA fighter lineup ever gathered in the Middle East.

The main event will feature former two-time UFC champion Israel Adesanya from New Zealand going head-to-head with France’s rising star, Nassourdine Imavov, promising a thrilling night of fights for MMA fans.
