Residents of southeast Wyoming can look forward to a warm and calm week ahead, with temperatures in the 30s and 40s, and minimal wind, which is a rare occurrence for the region, KGAB AM 650 reports.

According to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service, the upcoming week will bring mostly clear skies and pleasant conditions, offering a welcome break from the typical winter weather.

For the next few days, Monday through Wednesday, expect sunny skies and mild temperatures, with highs ranging between 42°F and 44°F in Cheyenne, and slightly cooler conditions in Laramie. Winds will remain light, and clear skies will make for a pleasant atmosphere. The warmest day is forecasted to be Friday, when temperatures may reach up to 46°F in Cheyenne.

However, the mild weather may not last long. Starting Thursday, there will be a slight chance of snow returning to the area, continuing into Friday. The weekend could bring cooler temperatures and breezy conditions, with some areas experiencing light snow on Saturday and Sunday. Snowfall amounts are expected to be modest, and there will be a chance for flurries in the region.

For now, residents can enjoy the calm and warming weather before winter conditions return later in the week.
