Three standout players from the University of Wyoming football program are showcasing their skills and representing the Cowboys at prestigious collegiate all-star games this month, News Letter Journal reports.
Defensive tackle Jordan Bertagnole, safety Isaac White, and offensive lineman Nofoafia Tulafono have earned spots in events that highlight top collegiate talent for professional scouts and coaches.
Defensive tackle Jordan Bertagnole, a Casper native, and safety Isaac White of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, participated in the College Gridiron Showcase on January 12 in Fort Worth, Texas.
- Jordan Bertagnole: Over his 54-game career with the Cowboys, Bertagnole recorded 205 tackles, ranking in the top 10 in school history for tackles for loss with 25. He also tallied 11 sacks, forced three fumbles, and recovered two. In 2023, he had a career-high 60 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks. His efforts earned him Second Team All-Mountain West honors, and he was named First Team All-Mountain West by Phil Steele.
- Isaac White: White appeared in 49 games and amassed 219 career tackles, including 144 solo stops. Over his last three seasons, he consistently delivered standout performances, including a career-high 10 tackles against BYU in September 2024. White also recorded two interceptions during his tenure, one of which came in the 2023 Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl.
Nofoafia Tulafono, an offensive lineman from Victorville, California, is set to participate in the Trillion Tropical Gridiron Showcase on January 19 in Daytona Beach, Florida.
- Nofoafia Tulafono: A reliable starter, Tulafono appeared in 50 games for the Cowboys, starting 38 consecutive games since 2022. Known for his strong pass-blocking skills, he allowed only one sack over 350 pass-block snaps in 2023. He also registered over 20 pancake blocks that season and earned an 82.7 pass-block grade from Pro Football Focus, placing him 25th nationally and second in the Mountain West. Tulafono was recognized with Honorable Mention All-Mountain West honors in 2023 and was a nominee for the Polynesian Player of the Year.
