Duchess of Sussex Postpones Netflix Lifestyle Series Amid Devastating California Wildfires
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has announced that the premiere of her highly anticipated Netflix lifestyle series, “With Love, Meghan,” has been postponed due to the ongoing and deadly wildfires ravaging Southern California. The series, originally slated for a January 15 debut, will now premiere on March 4, according to CNN.
In a statement Markle expressed her gratitude to Netflix for supporting the delay.
“I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.”
“With Love, Meghan,” filmed in Montecito, California, is described by Netflix as a series showcasing Markle sharing “personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected.” The show was positioned as a sun-soaked tribute to the relaxed Southern California lifestyle.
Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, have been actively involved in aiding relief efforts. On Friday, the couple visited the Pasadena Convention Center to meet with first responders and individuals impacted by the fires, according to footage captured by Fox 11. They also met with World Central Kitchen (WCK) founder José Andrés.
The region continues to battle severe wildfires.
