The annual Shane Shatto Wrestling Tournament showcased fierce competition and exceptional talent in Douglas over the weekend, Wyopreps.com reports.
Thirty teams from Wyoming and Nebraska participated in the girls’ division, which was held at the Douglas Middle School gym. The tournament was filled with enthusiasm as athletes battled for top honors across multiple weight classes.
Chadron, Nebraska, claimed first place in the team standings with 150.5 points, narrowly edging out Cheyenne East, which scored 149. Sheridan placed third with 137 points, while Natrona County and Campbell County rounded out the top six with 122 and 113.5 points, respectively.
