The Wyoming high school boys’ swimming and diving season enters its fifth week with a busy schedule of competitions from January 9 to 11, 2025, Wyopreps.com reports.

Teams across the state will participate in dual meets and medium-sized invitational events, showcasing the talents of young athletes as they compete in various disciplines.

The week features events ranging from dual meets to multi-team invitationals. Highlights include a six-team invitational in Rock Springs and the two-day Jackson Invite, which will see four schools competing in preliminaries and finals. Saturday’s schedule is particularly packed, with five-team events hosted in Evanston and Sheridan and the prestigious Gene Dozah Invitational in Powell.

Friday, Jan. 10:

  • Gillette Triangular – Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Thunder Basin.
  • Jackson Invite Prelims – Jackson, Lander, Laramie, Sublette County.
  • Natrona County Duals – East, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County.
  • Powell Tri – Newcastle, Powell, Worland.
  • Riverton at Cody – Dual meet.
  • Rock Springs Invite – Evanston, Green River, Kemmerer, Lyman, Rawlins, Rock Springs.
  • Sheridan Pre-Invite – Buffalo, Douglas, Sheridan.

Saturday, Jan. 11:

  • Cheyenne Central at Campbell County – Dual meet.
  • Evanston Invite – Evanston, Green River, Kemmerer, Lyman, Rock Springs.
  • Gene Dozah Invitational – Buffalo, Cody, Newcastle, Powell, Riverton, Worland.
  • Jackson Invite Finals – Jackson, Lander, Laramie, Sublette County.
  • Sheridan Invite – Douglas, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.
