A vacant plot of land next to Jeff Bezos’ properties in Miami is now on the market for $200 million, Business Insider reports.

The property, located on Indian Creek, a private and secure island in Miami-Dade County, is being sold by anonymous owners who purchased the land for $27.5 million in 2018.

Indian Creek, often referred to as the “Billionaire Bunker,” is home to several high-profile residents, including Bezos himself, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, Tom Brady, and Carl Icahn. The island is known for its exclusivity and security, with only a single bridge providing access to the mainland and a private police force that patrols the area.

The land in question spans 1.84 acres and includes 200 feet of waterfront along Biscayne Bay. This prime location offers potential for constructing a 25,000-square-foot estate, with pre-designed plans available to the buyer. The site also allows for the development of a deep-water dock, making it suitable for docking a 180-foot megayacht.

While the sellers remain unnamed, their broker, Ilya Reznik, indicated that they initially intended to build on the land but later decided to sell. Despite the high asking price, Reznik suggested that there could be room for negotiation. He also pointed out that the presence of Bezos, who owns multiple properties on the island, may influence the price, as the area’s appeal has grown with the arrival of the Amazon founder.

The asking price of $200 million is significantly higher than the amounts Bezos paid for his own properties on Indian Creek. In 2023, he purchased a mansion for $68 million, an adjacent property for $79 million, and a third property for $90 million.

Indian Creek’s status as a highly secure, private enclave has made it a desirable location for billionaires seeking privacy and luxury living. The island houses around 40 homes across 300 acres, with a country club and round-the-clock security.
