Crash Champions has officially expanded its footprint into Wyoming, marking its presence in the 38th US state, Autobody News reports.
This expansion comes through the acquisition of Lennox Auto Body, a trusted collision repair center that has been serving the Cheyenne community for years. The transition of operations was finalized on December 13, with the facility at 1020 Dunn Avenue now operating under the Crash Champions brand.
Heather Lennox, owner of Lennox Auto Body, expressed enthusiasm about the new chapter for the company.
“We are excited to announce that Lennox Auto Body is joining the Crash Champions Collision Repair Team,” said Lennox. “We will continue serving the Cheyenne community with the same dedicated staff and exceptional quality of service that Richard Lennox established. As a proven founder-led company with a reputation for best-in-class service, we are confident that Crash Champions will continue to deliver high-quality service to our community.”
Crash Champions’ founder and CEO, Matt Ebert, also emphasized the importance of the acquisition.
“We are incredibly proud to expand the Crash Champions team into the state of Wyoming by welcoming the talented team at Lennox Auto Body,” Ebert said. “The Lennox family has forged an impressive reputation, and we look forward to honoring that legacy by continuing to serve the people of Cheyenne with trusted collision repair service under the Crash Champions banner.”
This latest acquisition is part of Crash Champions’ broader growth strategy. After merging with Service King in mid-2022, the company took a more measured approach to expansion in 2023, adding 27 locations. Unlike previous years of rapid growth through acquisitions, four of the 27 locations added in 2023 were greenfield developments—new, purpose-built repair centers—demonstrating Crash Champions’ willingness to develop facilities in key markets where acquisition targets are limited.
With the addition of the Wyoming location, Crash Champions now operates more than 650 collision repair centers across 38 states. The company’s growth trajectory highlights its commitment to providing collision repair services in new markets while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Crash Champions’ network of more than 650 locations underscores its position as a major player in the collision repair industry. The company leverages more than 25 years of experience to provide reliable repair services to customers nationwide. Every repair is backed by a written lifetime warranty, ensuring peace of mind for customers.
As Crash Champions continues its national expansion, the acquisition of Lennox Auto Body serves as a model for integrating well-established, locally respected businesses into its growing network. The company’s strategy of balancing acquisitions with greenfield developments positions it to meet increasing customer demand in both established and emerging markets.
