The University of Wyoming football program has officially announced its 2025 recruiting class, signing 20 new players as part of the early signing period.

The group, which includes athletes from across 12 states, is composed of 12 offensive and 9 defensive players. Among the signees are several highly ranked prospects, showcasing the Cowboys’ commitment to strengthening their roster for the upcoming season.

Head Coach Jay Sawvel expressed his enthusiasm for the incoming class, highlighting its talent and potential:

“This is a talented class that we are excited about. It is a starting point of the entire class and we still have work to do. We feel good about the overall talent and the spread of positions that we have been able to address future needs and potential current ones.”

Key recruits include Mason Drube, a highly regarded quarterback from Gillette, Wyoming, who is considered the top recruit in the state. Drube, a three-star prospect, threw for 2,434 yards and 23 touchdowns in his senior season and is already making a name for himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the country.

Also among the notable recruits are Parker Moore, a linebacker from Lawrence, Kansas, and Deion DeBlanc, a wide receiver from Houston, Texas. Moore, who totaled 73 tackles and five sacks last season, was also courted by Kansas and Air Force, while DeBlanc, a three-star receiver, has had an impressive senior year with 546 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

The class also includes several offensive linemen such as Kalvin Janssen (Gretna, Nebraska) and Johnathan Bush (Whitehouse, Texas), both of whom have received multiple recruiting offers from other universities. Additionally, the tight end position will be bolstered by players like Kyle Frendt from Minnesota and Landon Pace from Missouri, the latter being the son of NFL Hall of Famer Orlando Pace.

This class brings depth to multiple positions across the field, including defensive back, linebacker, and defensive line. Other recruits include defensive end Axel Ramazani, safety Kaiden Kimble-Turner, and cornerback BJ Inmon, a transfer from Snow College in Utah.

With a mix of regional talent and out-of-state prospects, the 2025 recruiting class promises to be an exciting foundation for the future of the Wyoming Cowboys football program.

The early signing period runs from Dec. 4 to Dec. 6, with a regular signing period beginning in February. Full information about the recruits can be found on the University of Wyoming Athletics website.
