The Wyoming All-State Marching Band will showcase its talent at the 105th 6abc Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day Parade in Philadelphia on November 28, County 10 reports.

Among the performers are several youth from Fremont County, including students from Lander Valley High School (LVHS), with some local families eager to see their children take part in the historic event.

One confirmed participant is Alden Hartpence, a drummer for LVHS. His mother, Tiffany Hartpence, shared that other LVHS students are also in the band, and additional Fremont County students are expected to participate. County 10, a local news outlet, is working to confirm more names and will provide updates.

As the nation’s oldest Thanksgiving Day parade, the Philadelphia event has long been a cherished tradition. The parade begins at 8:30 a.m. EST (6:30 a.m. MST) with a pre-show broadcast on 6abc, followed by three hours of performances and festivities. Viewers unable to attend in person or watch on local television can catch the event via Hulu, ABC News Live, or Disney+.

In addition to Alden Hartpence, the following LVHS students are confirmed to be performing:

  • Georgie Darr
  • Brookelynn Kimsey
  • Ava Hunter
  • Bryce Newman
  • Jacob Gatlin
  • Isabella Gallo
  • Lonny Hoffman
  • Anthony Fusco
  • Milana Wood
  • Vera Walker
  • Brayden Artery

Community members have been encouraged to share the names of any other Fremont County participants to ensure their contributions are recognized.

With multiple viewing options available, Wyoming residents can easily tune in to support their local youth and witness the Wyoming All-State Marching Band’s performance on a national stage. The parade promises to be a celebration of music, culture, and Thanksgiving spirit, continuing a tradition that dates back more than a century.
