Dominican Musician Juan Luis Guerra’s “Radio Güira” Triumphs at 25th Annual Latin Grammy Awards
This victory followed his earlier win for Record of the Year for his hit single, “Mambo 23.”
The celebratory evening, marking a quarter-century of the Latin Grammys, was a vibrant showcase of Latin music’s diverse genres and global influence. High-energy performances punctuated the awards ceremony, setting a celebratory tone from the opening number.
Carlos Vives kicked off the show with a medley including his hit “Si Si Si,” joined by fellow Colombian stars Juanes, Sebastián Yatra, and Camilo. Vives, honored the previous night as the Latin Grammy Person of the Year, received his award onstage from Jon Bon Jovi.
Other notable performances included a powerful duet of “Vivir Lo Nuestro” by Marc Anthony and La India, and collaborations featuring Kali Uchis, Luis Fonsi, Elena Rose, The Warning, Myke Towers, Danny Ocean, Álvaro Díaz, and Anitta, who paid tribute to the late Sergio Mendes with a bossa nova performance. Pitbull and Jon Bon Jovi also teamed up for a remix of Bon Jovi’s classic “It’s My Life.”
The awards themselves were spread throughout the evening, with some presented earlier at the Latin Grammy Premiere ceremony. Key wins included:

Behind the scenes, producer and songwriter Édgar Barrera, a leading force in Latin music with credits including work with Madonna, Karol G, and Shakira, continued his impressive streak, winning three awards at the Premiere ceremony, including Songwriter of the Year and Producer of the Year.
