The Wyoming Coaches Association has unveiled the All-State Girls Swimming Teams, recognizing the top athletes in the state for their exceptional performances in the pool during the season, Casper Star Tribune reports.

The honored swimmers represent various high schools across Wyoming, with standout athletes from both Class 4A and Class 3A classifications earning recognition for their outstanding achievements.

Class 4A All-State Swimmers

In Class 4A, which features the state’s larger schools, several athletes have been acknowledged for their stellar performances this season. Laramie High School led the charge with six athletes named to the all-state team, including Rowyn Birdsley, Maggie Turpin, Addi Graves, Libbie Roesler, MacKenna Schabron, and Brooklyn Smith.

Green River High School also made a strong showing with six swimmers named to the team, highlighted by Tanith Smith, Tavia Arnell, Haley Clevenger, Alayna Kelhofer, Peyton Murray, and Kaylin Uhrig. Jackson High School contributed two talented swimmers to the list, Amaya Olivieri and Maren Tattersall.

Other notable athletes include Megan Goodrich from Kelly Walsh, Kayleigh Hood of Cheyenne Central, and Brooke Noble and Addi Rehard from Gillette. Nzelle Ayokosok of Cheyenne East was also named to the team.

Several of the athletes received repeat honors. For example, Tanith Smith from Green River, Maggie Turpin from Laramie, and Rowyn Birdsley from Laramie were all previous All-State swimmers, having earned the distinction in prior years as well.

Class 3A All-State Swimmers

In Class 3A, the smaller schools in Wyoming, the All-State team includes athletes from across the state who have showcased their skills in a variety of events. Lander had a notable presence, with Lara Robertson, Katy Anderson, Emma Jones, Daegan Reinhardt, Chayse Denton, Vayda Havens, Sara Kearns, and Emily Plaisted all making the list. This marks a continuation of success for Lander swimmers, as Lara Robertson and Katy Anderson both earned All-State honors in previous years.

Other notable swimmers on the Class 3A All-State team include Louella Cornell from Cody, Horizon Hanson from Buffalo, Hanna Walker from Kemmerer, Shae Whitlock from Worland, and Maggie Williams from Sublette County.

The Class 3A team highlights the talent from smaller schools, showcasing the breadth of swimming excellence across the state, not just in the larger 4A programs.
