Authorities in Gillette are investigating a series of vandalism incidents that occurred over the weekend, Wyoming News Now reports.

City of Gillette, Sheridan Area Search and Rescue, Stock ImageAccording to the city of Gillette, several juvenile males are suspected of damaging Halloween decorations at multiple homes between 11 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, and 5 a.m. on Sunday, October 20. The suspects were reportedly driving a dark-colored Prius or a similar vehicle. Residents with information are encouraged to contact the Gillette Police Department at 307-682-5155.

In Sheridan County, the Sheridan Area Search and Rescue team is assisting the FBI and the Bureau of Land Management in the search for a missing child on the Crow Reservation. The search team shared an update on social media, offering their support to the child’s family and confirming plans to continue the search along a river. No further details have been released at this time.

In Teton County, drivers should be aware of a temporary road closure on Broadway Avenue scheduled for Thursday, October 24, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. The Wyoming Department of Transportation and Modern Electric will be installing a new signal mast at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Millward Street. The closure will affect the section between Glenwood Street and Jackson Street. Drivers are advised to use detours via West Pearl Avenue and Deloney Avenue.

Finally, a reminder for Yellowstone National Park visitors: most of the park’s roads will close for the season on Thursday, October 31, in preparation for winter. The west, south, and east entrances will be closed to regular vehicle traffic starting November 1, with snowmobile and snow coach travel set to begin on December 15.
