Listeria monocytogenes can lead to listeriosis, a serious infection that may cause fever, muscle aches, headaches, gastrointestinal symptoms, and more severe conditions, especially in pregnant women, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems. Pregnant women are at risk of miscarriage or stillbirth if infected. Treatment involves antibiotics, and anyone in high-risk groups experiencing flu-like symptoms within two months of consuming the recalled products should seek medical care.
For more information, consumers are advised to visit the product recall list and follow safety guidelines provided by health authorities.
