Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has recently made headlines with a significant update to his garage, showcasing two new Porsches tailored for himself and his wife, Priscilla Chan.

In a unique twist, Chan’s vehicle has been transformed into what is believed to be the only Porsche minivan in existence.

Zuckerberg took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal the two cars: a Porsche 911 GT3 with a touring package for himself and a retrofitted Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT for Chan. The couple’s new cars feature matching light gray finishes in a color known as “Crayon.”

“New side quest. Priscilla wanted a minivan, so I’ve been designing something I’m pretty sure should exist: a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Minivan. Threw in a manual GT3 Touring to make it his and hers,” Zuckerberg mentioned in his post.

The custom Cayenne has been retrofitted with power sliding doors, a common feature in traditional minivans. While the specific interior modifications are not publicly detailed, it has been confirmed that Porsche and West Coast Customs, a Southern California-based auto body shop known for unique luxury vehicle modifications, collaborated on this project. West Coast Customs has previously worked with high-profile clients, including Justin Bieber and Shaquille O’Neal.

Porsche spokesperson Angus Fitton clarified that although the automaker did not produce the custom Cayenne, it does have a “special wishes” department called Sonderwunsch, allowing customers to personalize their vehicles. Fitton also noted that a concept minivan called the Porsche Vision Race Service was developed in 2018 but never moved to production.

Zuckerberg’s new vehicles come at a time when he is also undergoing a personal style evolution, often seen wearing new jewelry and outfits that align with his “mob chic” aesthetic. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT typically starts at around $200,000, with the Turbo GT package adding another $100,000 or more, while the 911 GT3 Touring starts at approximately $164,650.

Historically, Zuckerberg has been seen driving more modest vehicles, including an Acura TSX, a Volkswagen Golf GTI, and a Honda Fit, all valued at around $30,000 or less. However, he is also known to own a Pagani Huayra, an Italian sports car costing over $1 million.

The reception of Zuckerberg’s custom Porsche minivan has sparked mixed reactions online, with comments ranging from admiration for its uniqueness to skepticism about its practicality.

“This is insane… insanely cool or insanely horrible depending on how you look at it,” one user remarked.

“It looks more like a Porsche limo. Looks too long and impractical to me,” the other noted.

While Zuckerberg may hold the title for the first Porsche minivan on the road, the idea of a Porsche minivan is not entirely new. In 2018, Porsche introduced the concept of a family-friendly minivan model, but it never came to fruition.
