Nvidia Expands Partnership with Accenture to Accelerate Corporate AI Adoption
  • PublishedOctober 3, 2024

Nvidia has deepened its collaboration with Accenture in a move aimed at increasing artificial intelligence (AI) adoption across businesses.

As part of the expanded partnership, Accenture will establish a dedicated Nvidia Business Group to help clients implement and scale generative AI technologies. This initiative includes training 30,000 Accenture experts in Nvidia’s AI technology, enabling companies to quickly deploy AI solutions and unlock their potential.

While Nvidia’s AI hardware dominates the industry, most of its sales are currently driven by large tech companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google. This new effort with Accenture is part of Nvidia’s broader strategy to bring AI technology to a wider range of businesses, helping them leverage AI’s benefits, such as automation and operational efficiency.

Accenture has already made significant investments in AI. In July, the company launched its AI Refinery, built on Nvidia’s technology, allowing clients to develop customized large-language models tailored to specific industry needs. Accenture’s Chief AI Officer, Lan Guan, highlighted that while many organizations recognize AI’s potential, only about 10% have successfully scaled its use. The Nvidia Business Group aims to overcome the common hurdles of cost, complexity, and technical readiness to help more companies fully benefit from AI.

The partnership includes the introduction of new tools, like the Nvidia NIM Agent Blueprint for simulating robot operations in virtual factories, helping industrial companies accelerate design and production. Accenture also plans to add AI Engineering Hubs in key global locations to support AI development and adoption further.
